Inspect Before You Pay
See the item in person before money changes hands. If you can't be there, send a vetted pro who sends photos before you pay the seller.
Pay by Traceable Means
Venmo, Zelle, or card — not cash, and not gift cards. A traceable payment is your recourse if the item isn't as described.
Meet in a Safe Location
