The $45 Flat, Explained
Package pickup is one of the few moving services priced as a flat fee instead of hourly. It starts at $45 flat for a single package from one address to one NYC address. Here's what that covers and what adds a fee.
What's Included in the $45
- One pickup at one address (a carrier desk, a store, or a building package room).
- Delivery to one NYC address.
- A dolly, straps, and basic blankets.
- A vehicle sized to the package (car for most, van when needed).
- One trip, no hourly charges.
What Can Add a Fee
- A second stop (multiple packages from different addresses).
- Oversize or freight items (over 4 feet or over 100 lbs).
- A pickup outside the five boroughs (parts of NJ may add a fee).
- A specific time window narrower than 2 hours.
You'll always know the total before we send the pro. No surprise add-ons.
Why Flat Beats Hourly for Pickups
A package pickup is a short job — 30 to 60 minutes door to door. Hourly pricing would mean a 2-hour minimum ($160) for a 30-minute trip. The flat rate reflects the actual work.
When Hourly Makes Sense Instead
If your pickup is really a moving job — multiple large items, a long carry, or a full vehicle — book moving labor by the hour instead. We'll tell you which is cheaper when you describe the job.
The Deposit
We authorize a one-hour deposit on your card to hold the spot — refundable if you cancel 24+ hours out. The balance is paid after the pickup.
