Loading and Unloading Help: Hourly Moving Labor Explained

Loading and Unloading Help: Hourly Moving Labor Explained

Labor-Only Moving, Defined

Labor-only moving help is exactly what it sounds like: you rent the truck, POD, or van, and our crew provides the people to load, drive-support, and unload. You're not paying for a truck you don't need.

What's Included

  • Two (or more) background-checked movers for the hours you book.
  • Loading and unloading of furniture and boxes.
  • Disassembly and reassembly of beds and tables that need it for the move.
  • Furniture blankets and a dolly (our crew brings them).
  • Careful placement of each item in the room you specify.

What's Not Included

  • The truck, van, or container — you rent that.
  • Driving. Our crew loads and unloads; you or a hired driver moves the vehicle between the two addresses.
  • Packing supplies beyond blankets. You provide boxes, tape, and bubble wrap.

How to Book the Right Crew

Tell us the home size, whether there's an elevator, and the carry distance. We recommend a crew size based on that: 2 movers for a studio, 3 for a two-bedroom, 4 for anything bigger.

The 2-Hour Minimum

All labor-only bookings start with a two-hour minimum to cover the crew's travel. Most moves fit comfortably; you're not charged for unused time at the end.
